Psychological Assessments

The mission of the A&M Psychological Services is to provide evidence-based assessment to children, adolescents, and young adults individually tailored so that clients walk away with a deeper understanding of self and are provided recommendations that serve as a road map for their own mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being.
Psychological Services Offers:

All new clients must fill out the intake and consent forms before attending their first session. All sessions will be 50 minutes unless otherwise stated by the counselor. During the intake session, counselors will evaluate the nature of personal needs and difficulties, discover goals for therapy and recommend the course of counseling. For children’s initial sessions, the child’s legal guardian is required to attend.
Self-Pay Fee Schedule: The following self-pay schedule is effective as of July 1, 2025 and will affect all new clients. al evaluations are completed by Provisionally Licensed or Licensed Psychologists. Fees for comprehensive psychological evaluations depend on the complexity of the case, interviews with parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and child, time spent administering, scoring, interpreting psychological tests and rating scales, and time spent writing psychological reports. Testing sessions typically last between 3-5 hours in length and depend on client performance, behavior, and other factors.
Evaluation Fee Range: $1,500 – $3,000
Cost includes:
Feedback session where results are communicated.
interviews with parent(s)/legal guardian(s) and child
Time spent administering/scoring/interpreting cognitive tests and/or rating scales
Time spent integrating data obtained from testing
Writing a comprehensive report (typically falling between 5-15 pages depending on complexity of case)
