Depression & Anxiety Counseling
Depression and anxiety are currently the most common mental health concerns in our culture. These conditions can be devastating because they often influence relational and occupational functioning, physical well-being and more. Mood disorders often reflect enduring patterns of thinking and are difficult to change by willpower alone. Counselors at the A&M Christian Counseling Center treat depression and anxiety with sound spiritual and psychological principles.
All new clients must fill out the intake and consent forms before attending their first session. All sessions will be 50 minutes unless otherwise stated by the counselor. During the intake session, counselors will evaluate the nature of personal needs and difficulties, discover goals for therapy and recommend the course of counseling. For children’s initial sessions, the child’s legal guardian is required to attend.
